.POOLE APPOINTED BY GOVERNOR MCDONNELL TO THE VIRGINIA LOTTERY BOARD

Albert H. Poole, CEO and co-managing shareholder with the law firm was appointed to the Virginia Lottery Board by Governor McDonnell.

Mr. Poole chairs Poole Mahoney PC's Business Department, handles commercial transactions, and is active in commercial litigation, as well as asbestos defense litigation.

 

.MAHONEY APPOINTED BY GOVERNOR MCDONNELL TO VIRGINIA'S CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINE REVIEW PANEL

Reeves W. Mahoney, shareholder with the law firm was appointed to Virginia's Child Support Guideline Review Panel by Governor McDonnell.

The Secretary of Health and Human Resources Child Support Guideline Review Panel was created by the General Assembly for the purpose of periodically reviewing the guidelines for determining the appropriate dollar amount of monthly child support payments.

A wrongful death action settled by Jeffrey Brooke in the cash amount of $2,850,000.00 ranked him #7 by Virginia Lawyers Weekly for "Million Dollar Settlements" obtained during 2009. Mr. Brooke brought suit on behalf of the estate of a construction superintendent against a delivery company, its driver, and the company responsible for the maintenance of the delivery truck when a heavy load of doors fell from the truck's liftgate.
