Our Firm History

Poole Mahoney PC celebrates twenty-five years of legal service to the community. Huff, Poole & Mahoney, P.C. was founded in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1987 by Glen A. Huff. In 2011, Glen’s long-range career goal was achieved with his appointment as a Judge to the Virginia Court of Appeals. In light of his appointment, the firm changed its name to Poole Mahoney PC.

The firm continues to maintain its primary vision to be a trendsetter, good provider and a good place to work. Although our name has changed, our commitment to our clients remains the same.

Poole Mahoney PC has grown both in numbers and expertise as evidenced by the numerous awards and contributions made to both the legal profession and the community. To meet the growing needs of our clients, we opened a Richmond area office in Chesterfield, Virginia in 1994. During January of 2009, our Chesapeake office was opened. Six months later, we opened another office in Norfolk. With four offices, more than twenty attorneys, and sixteen established practice areas, Poole Mahoney PC is well-positioned to serve our clients' needs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
