 Ms. Smith is a shareholder of the firm whose practice areas include business and commercial real estate matters, estate planning, and estate and trust administration. Ms. Smith serves as a Commissioner of Accounts for Virginia Beach Circuit Court and was named this year as one of the Top 25 Women Attorneys in Virginia by the Richmond, Virginia magazine, Virginia Super Lawyers. Additionally, Ms. Smith was selected this year for inclusion in the Virginia Super Lawyers list in the category of Business/Corporate and in Virginia Business magazine’s Legal Elite in the category of Taxes, Estates, Trusts and Elder Law. Ms. Smith has previously received the honors of being named "Boss of the Year" by the Virginia Beach Legal Staff Association, being named a Virginia Super Lawyer and a Virginia Rising Star by Virginia Super Lawyers, and being included in Legal Elite in the category of Top Young Lawyer by Virginia Business magazine. Ms. Smith was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1993, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia.
