 Mr. Gerber is the Chairman of the Firm’s Health Care Practice Group. His practice includes the representation of hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and nurses in medical malpractice and administrative matters. He has been repeatedly elected by his peers to be included in Virginia Business magazine’s Legal Elite in the category of Health Law and in 2011 was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Gerber is frequently asked to appear at CME programs and Grand Rounds to lecture on various topics including “Why Patients Sue”; “The Electronic Medical Record from a Lawyer’s Perspective”; “Disclosure of Adverse Outcomes; The Reality of Telling Patients?” and “Consent, Getting the OK and the What Ifs.” He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1992, the Virginia Bar in 1993 and the South Carolina Bar in 1995.
